Description

The book is divided into seven chapters. In the first the author describes the healing power of prayer and the ways of prayer of such famous Americans as George Washington and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Then he considers the problem of apparently unanswered prayer. The third chapter deals with just what happens when men pray, and the fourth emphasizes the importance of intercessory prayer and how prayers for other affect their lives. Dr. Bonnell then gives a helpful exposition of the Lord’s Prayer and follows this with a deeply moving examination of Jesus’ prayer in Gethsemane. In the final chapter he gives straightforward answers to some of the actual questions people have asked him concerning prayer.
