Description
Written in 1956, this was one of the first travelog-style books devoted exclusively to skiing around the world. Some of the information may be a bit out of date – it offers skiing tips for Lebanon – and Pan Am no longer flies but it does provide ideas and excellent black and white photographs. The cover is a painting by A Sheldon Pennoyer, one of the original Monument Men and it has a forward by Lowell Thomas.
Item Condition: Collectible Good. First printing published 1961. Hardcover has wear. Cover corners have creases. No dust jacket. Pages are clean and binding is secure.
