Description
Rutger Hauer plays Andreas Kartak, a Paris tramp living in an alcoholic haze. An elderly gentleman gives him 200 Francs, telling him it must be repaid to the Shrine of St Therese. Kartak spends the money on drink and luxuries and is visited by visions, memories and St Therese herself, chiding him for his failure to repay his debts.
