Description
R. Mugo Gatheru was born and raised on a Kikiyu tribal reserve in Kenya during British colonial rule. As a teenager, he left the reserve to gain an education in the white man’s world. This quest and the barriers he encountered led him on a roundabout path to India, America, and England, before returning to participate in the building of a new Kenyan nation.
Item Condition: Used Good. 1972 First printing. Paperback cover has some minor wear along the sides, scuffs and bending. Spine has some reading creases. Pages are clean and the binding is secure.
