Very Good. 8vo – over 7?” – 9?” tall. First edition bound in pale red cloth with sword decorations and white lettering. Frontis plate, 314 pages. Book VG, spine faded and soiled, a few soil spots on the covers. Interior has remains of a bookplate on front pastedown, else clean, tight.

Item Condition: Used Acceptable. 1905 The Hobart Company edition. Hardcover has scuffs, stains, dings, and wear along the corners/edges/spine. Inscription on first blank page. Page before content page is missing. Pages are discolored and a few have light stains/folded corners. Gilding on top of book is still there. Front cover binding is loosening.
