Description
Four plays by Sophocles, with introductions by their translators: Ajax, translated by John Moore; The Women of Trachis, translated by Michael Jameson; and Electra, and Philoctetes, both translated by David Grene. Philoctetes was first performed at the Festival of Dionysus in 409 BC, where it won first prize.
Item Condition: Used Acceptable. 1957 edition. Dust jacket has some wear and small tears along the sides. Hardcover has some minor wear along the sides, scuffs and marks. Spine has some wear on the top and bottom. Pages are clean. Binding is slightly loose.
