Karate was developed from various dorms of Chinese Kung-fu on the island of Okinawa and was taken to Japan. Karate is the first book directly to compare the five styles. The styled discussed are Shitakan, Gojo ryu, Wado ryu, Shiito ryu, and Kyokushibkai.
Item Condition: Used Acceptable. 1990 edition. Dust jacket has significant wear and small tears along the sides. Hardcover has some moderate wear along the sides, scuffs and marks. Book has a stain in the top left corner. Spine has some wear on the top and bottom. Pages are clean and the binding is secure.
