I thought that this 1983 album was the best one of the 5 albums that Jeffrey Osborne recorded for A&M in the ’80s. This is even better than the ’82 album that had On The Wings of Love. There’s so much an emphasis on strong song making and a live sound. I still love Don’t You Get So Mad, at one point in summer ’83 my favorite song in a year when Michael Jackson dominated all music charts. George Duke produced his best songs for another artist besides himself with this one. Two Wrongs Don’t Make It Right, the funky Stay With Me Tonight, We’re Going All the Way, Plane Love (another funky number) and many others are what make this album stand out. Sometimes the album has some shades of ’70s sounds, such as with his former group LTD. This really made Osborne a well received artist and he still is loved today by many fans!
